The statement reads, “I’m saddened by the news of the death of Olupo of #Oluponna, HRM Oba Emmanuel Onaolapo Oyebanji, Fadare ll.

This is more of a personal loss to me as I shared close ties with Kabiesi beyond what is known to the public.

He was an agriculturist like i am, a peacemaker and a man of valour with unquestionable character.

The late monarch was an honest feather on the throne with an unblemished reputation.

He do embraced me warmly and offered me pearls of wisdom anytime there are opportunities for us to exchange ideas

I’m deeply saddened by this loss as Baba is reputed for his commitment to the propagation and promotion of peace and unity within the Federal constituency apron we’re all tied to and even beyond.

While I commiserate with the family, the Chiefs, associates and entire community members of our late monarch, I urge everyone to take solace in the fact that he lived a worthy life dedicated to the service of God and humanity.

I specifically commiserate with a noble friend and associate, Chief Solomon Oyerinde(Odofin Agba-oye of Oluponna) and my younger brother Dr Niyi Oriolowo who the late monarch bestowed a prestigious Chieftaincy title on several years back, over the demise of kabiesi, i pray may God comfort us over this occurence and grant kabiesi a peaceful eternal rest in the blossom of our Lord Jesus Christ!

Adieu to a great monarch who will never be forgotten because of his imprint on the sand of time” the condolence statement concluded.
