According to “Everyday Health”, S£x is fun, feels great, and brings you closer to your partner—and regular intimacy is also good for your mental and physical health. Making love can improve your heart function, lower your stress and anxiety levels, reduce aches and so much more.
Unfortunately, some seemingly innocent habits before and after sex could cause problems in the sack, ruining your healthy fun. Here are five things to avoid if you’re going to get intimate.
1. Don’t Run To The Bathroom For A Quick Shave.
If you shave your legs or bikini area, it might be tempting to run to the bathroom for a quick pre-sex touch-up. But trust me when I say the consequences are not worth it. “Shaving and trimming may land you with irritation and discomfort,” according to “Healthline”. Instead, try to remember to shave the day before. Or simply go forth confidently with your hairy self.
2. Don’t eat a huge meal.
You might be on a date at the most amazing restaurant ever, but if you’re trying to get frisky upon leaving, stick to digestible portions. Not only can eating too much cause you to be bloated and, well, not totally in the mood to move around, but it can also be a problem sexually. Both men and women need blood to flow to their sexual organs, and if the body is digesting a large meal, the blood is going there instead of other places.
3. Don’t Eat Super Spicy Foods Or A Meal High In Fat.
If you’re planning to have sex, tone it down on the hot sauce. Spicy foods like curry and peppers can trigger symptoms of acid reflux, including heartburn, and a burning sensation in the throat; this may make it difficult to get in the mood. And if your body is sensitive to fiery foods, you may not be able to hold in farts or burps.
4. Don’t Take An Antihistamine.
Feeling stuffy? You may want to hold off on taking cough and cold meds if you’re planning to get busy later. While antihistamines help dry up runny noses, that’s not the only thing that’s going to dry up. Women may notice that their vaginas are less lubricated, too, since these drugs cause mucous membranes to dry up all over the body.

How to remove smegma from the penis
Smegma is a substance made up of oil and dead skin cells. It can accumulate under the foreskin in uncircumcised males or around the folds of the labia in females.
It’s not a sign of a sexually transmitted infection, and it’s not a serious condition.
Left untreated, smegma can cause an odor or in some cases, harden and lead to irritation in the genitals.
According to healthline, the simplest way to remove smegma is to adjust your personal hygiene routine.
In men, that means properly cleaning your genitals, including around and under your foreskin.
Your body produces a lubricant to help the foreskin retract. That lubricant can build up under your foreskin along with other natural oils, dead skin cells, dirt, and bacteria. That’s why this condition is less common in circumcised males.
Properly cleaning your genitals is the easiest way to remove smegma.
1. Gently pull back your foreskin. If the smegma has hardened, you may not be able to pull it back all the way. Don’t force it, as that can cause pain and tear the skin, which could lead to infection.
2. Use a mild soap and warm water to wash the area that’s usually covered by your foreskin. Avoid harsh scrubbing, as that can irritate the sensitive skin. If the smegma has hardened, gently rubbing oil on the area before cleaning it may help loosen up the accumulation.
3. Thoroughly rinse off all the soap and then gently pat the area dry.
4. Pull your foreskin back over the tip of your genital.
5. Repeat this daily until the smegma disappears.
It’s important to avoid scraping the smegma with sharp devices or cotton swabs. That can cause additional irritation.
If the smegma isn’t improving after a week of proper cleaning, or if it’s getting worse, see your doctor.
You should also see your doctor if your genital is red or inflamed. You may have an infection or another condition that requires medical treatment.
