How To Apply For BBNaija 2022

A new season of the Big Brother Nigeria reality show is officially underway with organisers confirming auditions this week.

Since the pandemic, a lot has changed about the reality show’s auditioning style. Non-strangers would recall that BBNaija held physical auditions across major Nigerian cities that attracted a mammoth crowd.

In a bid to reduce the spread of Covid, organisers sought non-physical processes that’s proven to be just as effective.

Here is everything you need to check off your list for season seven’s application.

Audition closes May 30

If you are considering participating in BBNaija season seven, then procrastination isn’t your best friend. This year’s auditions will last for two weeks.

Last year, organisers introduced early auditions exclusive to DSTV and GOTV users before the general auditions. It’s unclear if this year will follow that route especially as general auditions have already been announced.

2. How to Apply

Interested participants are expected to record a three-minute video sharing:

– Who you are

– Unique things about you

– Your favourite things

– Likes and Dislikes

– Briefly talk about your family and close friends

– The neighbourhood you grew up in and how this has shaped you

The video should be uploaded to the BBNAIJA 2022 auditions website

3. Relevant information (Terms and Conditions)

Reading Terms and Conditions can be a pain. For one, they are lengthy and require time to read through carefully. But, It’s very important to get it out of the way especially if your data is being collected.

Thankfully, the T&Cs for the BBNaija auditions are easy to read.

Some of the Conditions include:

– Participants can’t be younger than 21 by June 1, 2022

– Participants must be Nigerians or permanent resident of the country by June 1, 2022

– Participants must be in perfect health (physical and mental) as you will be required to show medical records. Eligible participants will undergo medical checks.

– The next stage will be a video interview conducted by the organisers.

Carefully read the T&C before uploading your video.

Other details required from applicants include details of Next of Kin, Contact numbers among others.

4. Application is Free

BBNaija organisers insist application is free. At no point will participants be expected to pay to be eligible.

Davido set to release next album, Timeless

The pop star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has returned to Instagram after months of hiatus from his social media page as he set March 31st for his next albumtitled “Timeless”.

Recall that the music star, took a pause on social media when he lost his only son, Ifeanyi, on October 31, 2022.

Further checked by Vanguard revealed the Nigerian superstar, Davido, deleted the majority of his posts on Instagram, including his profile picture leaving only three including.

The only posts remaining on the singer’s Instagram account with 26.4 million followers were that of his late son, Ifeanyi; pictures from his performance at the Qatar World Cup, and the post of him and his lover, Chioma Rowland, getting ready for the World Cup performance in December 2022.

Today, the pop star retuned with video clips of his about-to-release musical album.

According to him, “There is a time for everything. A time to Grieve and a time to Heal.

“A time to Laugh and a time to Dance. A time to Speak and A time for Silence”

The pop star went further to appreciate his fans for their show of love and support. He wrote; “Thank you to everyone out there for your love and support that has held me down. All the love and messages while I was away, the gifts sent, the concerts you all threw! I appreciate it all. Today, I want to remind you all that what is now Timeless, was once new. It’s time for new.

Rihanna flaunts pregnant at Super Bowl half-time show

Globally renowned Barbadian singer, Rihanna has confirmed that she is pregnant with her second child.

On Sunday 12 February, the “Diamonds” singer sparked speculation that she is pregnant again when she took to the stage at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, to perform a medley of hits during the Super Bowl 2023 halftime show.

For the occasion, Rihanna opted for a bright red jumpsuit, which was unzipped to show off a red bodysuit underneath. In addition to displaying what many suggested was a pregnancy bump, the singer was seen rubbing her stomach during the performance.

Following the halftime show, a representative for Rihanna confirmed the pregnancy speculation in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter.

The singer’s pregnancy news comes after she and boyfriend A$AP Rocky welcomed their first child, a son, in May 2022. The couple has not yet revealed the name of their son, with Rihanna previously blaming their busy schedules.

“We just didn’t get around to it yet, really. We’ve just been living,” the singer told the Associated Press in November. “But I guess there’s a certain freedom that comes with kind of just like getting it out there.”
